Attendance
At Harworth Church of England school our attendance is broadly in line with the national average. Every week during our OWL assemblies we announce the class with the highest attendance and they are presented with Leo the Lion for the week along with a special treat. The figures are published on the newsletters for parents and there is a display in the school hall which shows the winner for that week. At the end of the term the class with the highest total wins a treat.
We are constantly working hard to improve our attendance and every term parents are notified of their child's attendance. If their child has attended school every day for the whole year they are awarded a special 100% attendance certificate.
